Checked Baggage: Checked Baggage: The baggage allowance varies according to fare class i.e. on the Economy class, which frequently allows one or two checked bags (23 kg); Premium Economy has two bags (23 kg each), and Business and First have two or three bags(32 kg each). Certain routes and the promotional fares are different and therefore, verify the ticket details prior to travelling.

Seat Selection Policy

You can have your chosen seat during the booking, or you can later make the changes by going to the Manage My Booking. Wth the free-of-cost seat selection, it also depends upon the fare type, frequent flyer status, and the cabin class. The passengers can also select the seat at the time of booking, while others can do free check-in. Basic fares may require a certain fee for advance seat choice.

Pet Policy

British Airways cannot allow pets in the cabin except in the case of certified assistance dogs that are carried free of charge (with prior arrangements) when they are travelling with a passenger. Any other pets, like cats, dogs, and small animals, should be carried as cargo either by IAG Cargo or its affiliates; they cannot be carried as baggage. There are regulations of documentation, prior reservation, and transportation of pets.

Policy of Issuance of Boarding Cards:

Online check in or on the BA app is possible about 24 hours before departure, and then you can print or save your mobile boarding pass on your phone by downloading or emailing it. You can get your boarding pass at a self service kiosk or check-in desk by supplying your booking reference and ID, however, you must do so before getting to the airport. In case you lose or forget your boarding card, you may reprint it at airport kiosk, or ask employees to help you. Remember to obtain your boarding pass before the end of the check-in since you are not allowed to board with no boarding pass.
